SB5

For Design & Manufacturing Engineers

Specs in your inbox.
Samples on your bench.

SB5 is a custom component supplier built around how OEM engineers actually evaluate parts. Send us a CAD file, a drawing, or a sample. We respond with material options, tolerances, and a free verification sample - not a sales call.

What you get

A vendor that speaks engineering, not marketing.

Every part of how we sell, quote, sample, and produce is built around removing friction from the engineering review cycle. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Specs first, marketing second

Every product has a structured spec table with material grades, dimensional tolerances, finish options, and operating ranges. No clicking through three pages of fluff to find a durometer.

CAD-friendly RFQ workflow

Upload STEP, DWG, DXF, IGES, or PDF drawings directly with your quote request. We accept native CAD formats and respond with engineer-to-engineer feedback, not a sales pitch.

Free verification samples

Before committing to production, share your expected usage and we'll produce verification samples tailored to your application. Test fit, finish, durometer, pull strength, and tolerance against your existing supplier.

Reverse engineering capability

Send us a sample part and we will reproduce it. Our team handles dimensioning, material identification, and tolerance reverse-engineering for legacy components and obsoleted SKUs.

Material data on request

Need a mill cert, RoHS declaration, or material safety data sheet? Ask. We track these by lot for every customer and can include them with sample shipments.

Cross-industry vocabulary built in

Search for skirting seal, pile weatherstrip, brush grommet, or damper blade seal and find the same SB5 base component. We map terminology across 20+ industries so you can specify in your team's language.

How an engineering review cycle runs

Quote, sample, approve, produce.

We do not ask you to approve a production run before you have a part in your hand. Every new component goes through this loop, and we cover the cost of the verification sample.

Day 1-2

Step 01

Quote

Send specs, drawings, or a current part. We quote within 24-48 hours.

1-3 weeks

Step 02

Free Verification Sample

We manufacture and ship samples at no cost. Verify fit, finish, and quality.

65-90 days

Step 03

Production

Once you approve the sample, we place the production order and manage the supply chain end-to-end.

Reorders ship in days

Step 04

Warehoused in Plant City

After approval, we stock your parts in our FL warehouse. Reorders skip the full production cycle and ship fast.

Technical capability snapshot

What we can quote on day one.

If your part fits any of these material families and processes, we can almost certainly quote it. If it does not, send the drawing anyway - we have a partner network that covers an even wider range.

Materials we work in

EPDM, silicone, TPE, TPV, polypropylene, nylon (6, 6/6, glass-filled), acetal, ABS, polycarbonate, PVC, 6061/6063 aluminum, 304/316 stainless, cold-rolled steel, brass, spring steel, polyurethane.

Manufacturing processes

CNC machining, metal stamping, injection molding, roll forming, brush manufacturing (staple-set and twist-in-wire), rubber and plastic extrusion, fabrication and assembly.

Tolerances and finishes

Dimensional tolerances down to +/- 0.05 mm on critical bores, finish options across mill, anodized, powder-coat, zinc-plate, electroless nickel, black oxide, and custom color matching.

Compliance you can request

RoHS, REACH, FDA-grade materials for food contact, UL94 flame ratings, mill certs and material lot traceability. AMCA, UL 555, and AAMA-style sample submissions on request for the relevant categories.

Know Your System

Click through a motorized screen, roll shutter, or retractable awning and see exactly where SB5 fits in the assembly. Every labeled wear point maps to a specific SB5 brush seal, EPDM gasket, or roller assembly.

Launch the Explorer

Have a drawing on your screen right now?

Drop the file, hit send, and we will come back with materials, tolerances, lead time, and a sample plan inside two business days. No sales call gating in the way.
