Accessibility Statement

SB5 Supply Solutions is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

SB5 Supply Solutions' website (sb5supplysolutions.com) is designed to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We regularly audit our site against these standards and treat accessibility issues as priority defects.

Accessibility features

Features implemented across the site include:

  • Accordion and dropdown components with correct ARIA attributes (aria-expanded, aria-controls, role=region) for screen reader users

Assistive technology compatibility

Our site is tested against current versions of the following assistive technologies:

  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS (Safari)
  • NVDA on Windows (Firefox and Chrome)
  • JAWS on Windows (Chrome and Edge)
  • TalkBack on Android (Chrome)

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist. We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved and are actively working on them:

  • A small number of specialty products are awaiting photographs. All products include detailed text descriptions and specifications.

SB5 Supply Solutions assessed the accessibility of this website using a combination of automated testing tools (Lighthouse, axe-core), keyboard-only navigation testing, and screen reader testing on the technologies listed above. New features are audited before they ship.
