Zip-retention hurricane / insect / shade / clear screens
Every major motorized exterior screen - hurricane, insect, solar shade, or clear vinyl - shares the same underlying architecture. A tubular motor drives an aluminum roller tube inside an aluminum headbox. Fabric unrolls downward with its zipper edges locked into vertical side tracks on each jamb. A weighted bottom bar tensions the fabric at the sill. Pile brush seals live at two critical wear points: the fabric exit slot at the bottom of the headbox, and the inside face of each side track where the fabric rides. SB5 manufactures every component marked below.
