Entry doors, patio doors, sliding doors, commercial doors, fire-rated assemblies, acoustic-rated assemblies — all consume the same families of gasketing, threshold, and hardware components. SB5 sources to the listed standards (BHMA, UL, NFPA) so the components drop into existing assembly drawings.

Door Bottom Sweeps
Nylon brush door sweeps (5/8″–1-1/2″ brush, 36–96″ lengths) and vinyl/EPDM blade sweeps with 6063-T5 aluminum retainer, listed to BHMA A156.22 Grade 1 / UL 10C / UL 1784 / NFPA 80/105.
Automatic Drop Seals
Mortise, semi-mortise, and surface-mount automatic door bottoms — ½″ drop range (¾″ extended) — with sponge silicone, sponge neoprene, TPV, or brush insert. BHMA A156.22 Grade 1, UL 10C fire, UL 1784 smoke, ADA-compliant low-close-force options.
Astragals & Perimeter Seal Kits
Overlapping, flat surface-applied, T-stem, and solid-metal astragals; 3-piece perimeter seal kits (header + 2 jambs); intumescent smoke seals; sponge-silicone acoustic seals for STC 40–55 systems.
Thresholds & Door Shoes
Saddle, ramped/bevel, and inserted aluminum thresholds (BHMA A156.21, ADA/ANSI A117.1); aluminum door shoes (U-channel) with vinyl, EPDM, or brush insert.
Patio Door Hardware
Center-fin patio door pile (6.9–9.7 mm backing); aluminum sliding tracks; single, tandem, and heavy commercial patio rollers (75–500 lb capacity) per AAMA 906.
Hinges & Lock Hardware
Residential and commercial hinges (BHMA A156.1 Grade 1/2, NFPA 80), spring hinges, strike plates, latch faceplates, deadbolt components, and door reinforcers/edge wraps.
